We'll "Pick Up The Tab!"

Date and Time:	Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm (PST) during the pre-banquet cocktail reception

A major function of the US-IALE meeting is foster interaction between students and practicing landscape ecologists ranging from academics to Federal, State, and NGO research scientists to private sector consultants. Non-students will be asked to purchase - or "pick up the tab" – for student drinks at the pre-banquet evening social. Participating non-students will pre-purchase tickets for random distribution to attending students. Each ticket will have the name of the purchaser, and your job as the student will be find this person at the social and introduce yourself. This event will be a way for you to meet current practitioners and learn more about landscape ecology in an informal, relaxed setting.
