Presenter Guidelines
The information listed below will be helpful in your
plans for your presentation:
1.
Schedule: Your talk is posted on the conference website- www.usiale.org.
If you have a problem with the assigned time, please contact the program
chair, Sarah Goslee at ialeprogram@gmail.com .
2. Timing: Speakers will
be given 20 minutes for their presentation unless otherwise indicated by
you symposium organizer- this includes
time for Q & A.
3. AV Equipment: Each room will have a laptop and data
projector with PowerPoint (version 2003). Please bring your talk to the
conference on
a jumpdrive/datastick or CD Rom (a backup would be helpful, just in case).
Because of the timing of the sessions, there is not a lot of time between
talks to change out laptops, so we would prefer that you abide by this
requirement.
4. Abstracts: Will be posted on http://www.usiale.org, and compiled
into a final program. They will be listed by track, by author’s last
name.
5. Speaker Check-in: Please check in at the speaker ready room when
you arrive and at least 24 hours prior to your talk, if possible. Check
at the registration desk for this specific location. This will enable
us to load the laptops for the sessions. Please check in with the session
moderator at least 10 minutes prior to your talk.
Thank you in advance for
your willingness to do a presentation at the conference.
