We'll "Pick Up The Tab!" – New!
A major function of US-IALE meeting is foster interaction between students and practicing landscape ecologists ranging from academics to Federal, State and NGO research scientists to private sector consultants. Those of us with these "real" jobs will be asked to purchase - or "pick up the tab" – for student drinks at the evening socials. Those of us buying will pre-purchase tickets for random distribution to attending students. Each ticket will have the name of the purchaser, and your job as the student will be find this person at the social and introduce yourself. We’re still working on the details, but hopefully it will be a way for you to meet current practitioners and learn more about landscape ecology.Latest News
